Javid Network Watch ("the Service") is an independent, non-commercial project. It is not affiliated with, or approved by, the Government of Iran, any Iranian internet provider, or any of the data providers named on this site. For general questions, write to [email protected].

The measurements are indicative, not authoritative

The Service collects measurements from third-party sources (IODA, OONI, RIPE Atlas, RIPEstat, Tor Metrics and Cloudflare Radar) and from its own direct reachability checks. It then turns those measurements into statuses, percentages and charts.

Each source has gaps, delays and sampling bias. Our thresholds and status labels are our own judgement, not a standard. A green status does not mean that the internet works normally in Iran. A red status does not prove censorship.

Our direct checks run from our own server. They show reachability from that server only. They do not show what a person inside Iran can reach.

When a source is unavailable, the Service can show the last value it received, marked with its age, or show the status as unknown. Data can be late, incomplete or wrong.

Do not rely on this site for safety decisions

The Service gives general information. It is not legal, technical or security advice. Do not use it as the only basis for a decision that can affect your safety, your freedom, your money or your work.

If you are in a high-risk situation, get advice from a qualified person or a trusted digital-security organisation.

Liability

We provide the Service free of charge and "as is". To the extent that the law allows, we give no promise that the data is accurate, complete or available at any time.

To the extent that the law allows, we are not liable for any loss that comes from a decision you make with the data on this site.

Nothing in this disclaimer limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that the law does not allow us to limit. Nothing in it affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
